Official reference profiles currently cover Call of Duty: Warzone, Apex Legends and Fortnite. Their event detectors and layouts are tested on real 2560×1440 sample footage. Warzone has beta auto-fit; Apex and Fortnite require manual alignment when the recording or HUD differs from the reference. Other games use community or custom templates, and are not official zero-setup profiles.
No. Upload, pick a template, confirm the HUD boxes against your recording, then review and render. The timeline lets you toggle overlays, adjust crops and reposition anything; official templates are reference-tested starting points, not a promise that every capture is aligned identically.
The Free plan includes five local exports each month, up to 60 seconds each, using official templates at up to 1080p60. Free clips include the vertclip.com watermark and a short end-tag. No card is required and there is no automatic charge.
Any screen recording — OBS, Twitch VODs, console captures, phone recordings of your screen. Higher-bitrate source footage produces sharper overlays. Free and Starter accept up to 1080p60, Creator up to 1440p60, and Studio up to 4K120 — so pick Creator or Studio if your console or capture card records above 1080p.
Eligible new customers can choose to add a card securely through Stripe Checkout. You pay $0 for 24 hours of Creator access, then the subscription renews automatically at $10/month unless you cancel from Account before the trial ends. The Free plan does not require this trial, and VertClip never stores your card details.
